LifeStar responded to Bristol on Friday night, according to dispatchers for the medical helicopter service.
Dispatchers for LifeStar said they believe the victim may have fallen, while police said it appears the patient was involved in a bicycle accident.
LifeStar landed on Route 6/Farmington Avenue, but police said the accident happened "on the other side of town." The exact location is unclear.
Police said the scene is clear and no road closures are in place.
There has been no word on the person's condition.
