A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Bloomfield just before 11 p.m. on Thursday.
According to police, the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed, crashed at Cottage Grove Road and Walsh Street and was found several feet away from the bike, police said.
Police have not released the motorcyclist’s name or gender.
An ambulance transported the driver from the scene. The extent of injuries sustained is not known.
