Pedestrian Struck in Cromwell

Cromwell police are investigating after a juvenile was hit by a car this afternoon on Evergreen Road.

The victim was crossing the street when he or she was hit by a car traveling westbound on Evergreen Road. Police said the victim was thrown into a grassy area on the side of the road.

Police believe the car stopped after hitting the victim.

The victim was taken by Cromwell EMS to the Children’s Medical Center in Hartford for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
