Police Are Searching for Restaurant, Bar Burglar

Connecticut state police

State police are looking for the man they believe is responsible for burglarizing several restaurants and bars in East Lyme and nearby towns.

The most recent burglary happened at 2 a.m. on Tuesday at the Lyme Tavern in the Niantic section of East Lyme, according to police.

The East Lyme resident state trooper and the East Lyme Police are trying to identify a man suspect whose image was captured by surveillance cameras at the at 229 West Main Street.

Police are asking anyone who can identify him to call the East Lyme Resident Troopers’ Office at (860) 739-5900 or Troop E in Montville at (860) 848-6500.
