Shelton Home Invasion Victim Arrested for Marijuana Operation: Police

The victim of a home invasion in Shelton was taken into custody after responding officers discovered a marijuana grow operation in the basement of the home.

Shelton Police responded to a 911 call on Quaker Ridge Road in Shelton at 10:30 am on Friday. The home invasion victim, William Frascatore, told police an intruder entered the home through an open door and went into his bedroom. The two men fled with jewelry and a cell phone after they tied Frascatore up.

During an investigation, discovered the drug operation and confiscated plants, dried marijuana and growing equipment. 

Frascatore is being accused of cultivation of marijuana, operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana over 4 ounces, possession with intent to sell, use of drug paraphernalia and injury of a minor. 

Before the home invaders left, Frascatore said their car was an older silver Honda Accord with a loud muffler.
