Police are warning residents after several residential burglaries.

Vernon police are urging residents to lock their doors and windows after several residential burglaries in the past few weeks.
Most of the burglaries have happened during daytime hours and several have been in apartment complexes, according to police.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity, such as an individual or group knocking on a resident’s door without any legitimate reason to do so, or individuals walking behind buildings they do not live in, should immediately report it to police.
