Windsor Untimely Death Ruled a Homicide

Windsor police have ruled an untimely death on Friday a homicide.

According to police, John Chakalos, 87 was found dead inside his home at 52 Overlook Drive by a family member just before 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

According to the medical examiner's officer, Chakalos died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Detectives from the Windsor Police Department along with detectives from the Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad are investigating.
