At the heart of BAR’s BruRoom are large metal tanks that feature four varieties of micro-brews (blonde, amber, pale and stout). The venue has been a staple of New Haven nightlife since 1991, as a dance club and a brick-oven pizza restaurant, and locals crave the mashed potato and bacon pizza, paired with anything on tap. Among other acknowledgements, the brew pub has been awarded for its “outstanding design” inside an old automobile showroom.
