On Saturday night, Bill Cosby will bring his comedy to the Bushnell in Hartford, but on Friday, he stopped by NBC Connecticut’s studios and met with Brad Drazen to talk about his show, his start in the entertainment industry and good parenting.

He addressed college sports and commended UConn football for coming together as a community when dealing with the tragedy of Jasper Howard’s death. Watch the interview here.

Cosby shares his thoughts on education, responsible parenting and what Hartford has in principal Steve Perry. See and hear it for yourself here.

He also took us on a journey back to the beginnings of his comedy career, why so many relate to him and what we’ll see and hear at the Bushnell. You can catch that here.

Lastly, Cosby shares some parental advice on how to avoid going broke. We can’t do it justice here, so you’ll have to listen for yourself.

There will be two shows. Saturday at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. You can get more information on the Bushnell's Web site.
