It would have been a chilly day for students at a Willimantic school, so instead they were sent home.
There was no heat at Windham Technical High School so school officials decided at 8:30 a.m. to send the students home.
It took a little bit of time to send the children home because the school had to coordinate buses to bring the students to 20 different towns, the assistant principal said.
There's no word on what triggered the heating issues.
