The operator of a crane was trapped when it collapsed at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville Tuesday morning.
More than an hour after the accident, the operator was rescued from the crane's cab. He reportedly suffered minor injuries.
The crane was working on highway construction when it somehow toppled over and went part of the way down an embankment, trapping the operator, state police said.
The crane inspector from the Office of the State Fire Marshal and representatives from OSHA are investigating the accident.
