In recognition of providing energy assistance to Connecticut’s families and elderly since 1977, Operation Fuel will hold its 35th anniversary celebration on Friday, October 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford.
Tickets are $75 each and can be purchased at www.operationfuel.org.
Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit statewide program that has provided emergency energy assistance throughout Connecticut for the past 35 years to lower-income working families, the elderly and disabled individuals who are in financial crisis and not eligible for energy assistance from government-funded programs.
Operation Fuel works in partnership with businesses, communities, government and individuals to ensure that Connecticut households have access year-round to critically needed energy assistance.
