She's suffered extreme personal tragedy in the past year, but singer, actress Jennifer Hudson is back on stage tonight at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Mashantucket. And she'll be in some very good-looking company. R&B singer Robin Thicke is also sharing the stage. And would you believe this handsome crooner is the son of "Growing Pains" dad, Alan Thicke? The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $60.

It's been around since the Prohibition days, but folks looking for a cold drink and great food can check out the new and improved Sisson Tavern, which reopened its doors just a few months ago in Hartford. Tonight, enjoy $1 Keystone Lights and $3 Well Drinks.

The discussion starts at 6 p.m., so don't be late, even though it is considered fashionable in the entertainment world.

Toubab Krewe might be five guys from North Carolina, but they've soaked up musical influences from Mali, Zimbabwe, Congo, Brazil and the Caribbean. They're playing tonight at 8:30 p.m. at the Iron Horse Music Hall, a little north in Northampton, Mass. Tickets are $13.
