Navy Vet Charged with Shooting Up Teens with Heroin

A 26-year-old former Navy field medic has pleaded guilty to charges that he injected two Alaska teenagers with heroin, killing one of them. Sean Warner is charged with involuntary manslaughter, evidence tampering and drug offenses for the injection of a 14-year-old girl who died from the dose he gave her; he also faces new charges involving his shooting heroin into a 17-year-old girl multiple times. Warner's uncle told The Associated Press his nephew was "terribly remorseful" and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder from his time in Afghanistan. Citing two witnesses, court papers allege that Warner shot up the 14-year-old, left her alone and later, when he found her face-down in her vomit, gave her another drug to treat her instead of calling 911; he then allegedly lied to police and dumped all evidence of drugs.
