Hartford Police have arrested four men after they were found with an assault weapon inside of a vehicle in Hartford on Saturday.
Officers received a call from a concerned citizen about multiple men with guns inside of a vehicle in front of 1786 Broad Street.
An investigation led to the apprehension of four male suspects in a vehicle.
Police recovered two Glock nine millimeter pistols. Officers said one of the guns was stolen out of Bristol and had been converted into a fully automatic pistol. It contained a 50-round capacity ammo drum with 27 live nine millimeter rounds.
All four men were arrested and charged. Police said two of the men are convicted felons.
Officers said 22-year-old Nelson Caqvias and 25-year-old Luis Morales-Reyes are facing charges including pistol without a permit, theft of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon and high capacity magazines.
Police said 35-year-old David Fernandez and 21-year-old Roberto Delgado are facing charges including criminal possession of a firearm, theft of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon and high capacity magazines.
