A 4-year-old boy drowned in a pool in Ledyard Saturday, according to police.
Ledyard police said Saturday night they responded to a Gales Ferry home for reports of a possible drowning. When first responders arrived they found the 4-year old in a pool at the home, according to police.
The child was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The child has not been publicly identified.
Ledyard police are investigating.
