A former Western Connecticut State University student is hospitalized after falling off a balcony on campus early Tuesday morning.
Brian Mendicino, 21, of Watertown was drunk when he fell four stories from a balcony at Pinney Hall, University Police said.
Mendicino landed on an embankment below and rolled down the embankment to the parking lot around 12:15 a.m., according to police.
He had suffered a shoulder injury and was bleeding from his nose when police arrived. Mendecino was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition Tuesday morning, police said.
