Hartford police have arrested a man charged with a shooting that occurred in March of 2013.
On March 8, 2013, police responded to a report of a person shot at 203 Sission Avenue. A victim was transported by private vehicle to St. Francis Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. The victim has since recovered but sustained life altering injuries, according to police. Police believe the motive was attempted robbery.
Police say 36-year-old Deshawn Jennings, of 102 Irving Street in Hartford, has been arrested in connection with the incident. He is charged with first-degree assault, first-degree criminal attempted robbery, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal possession of a firearm. He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
The investigation is on-going and police expect to make additional arrests.
