Part of the roof of a packaging company in West Haven collapsed on Friday morning and some people have been hurt, firefighters said.
Employees of O.Berk Company were in the process of moving items to the building next door when a forklift hit a pole inside the building, causing a section of the roof to collapse.
West Haven firefighters said there was damage to some of the equipment and materials.
The building inspector is at the scene to assess the damage.
