A 41-year-old New Britain man suffered serious injuried when he was hit by a car at Fenn Road in Newington near the Central Connecticut State University campus Thursday night, according to police.
David Ciszek, 41, of New Britain, was walking north on Fenn Road, near Holly Drive, when he was struck by a Honda Civic, police said. The driver remained at the scene and Ciszek was transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad is investigating and police ask anyone with information about the crash to call Officer Matt D’Esposito at 860-594-6212.
