A juvenile was arrested after a threatening message was found on a bathroom wall at Enfield High School Friday morning, according to police.
The school was “in a secure the building protocol” after police were notified of a possible bomb threat.
Police immediately responded and the school was placed in a secure the building protocol, not a lockdown.
State police bomb K9s conducted a precautionary sweep of the school which, they said, yieled negative results.
A juvenile suspect was developed and later arrested, according to police.
Police determined that this is a low-level threat, but the message from school officials says, “law enforcement will continue to follow appropriate protocols for a situation such as this” out of abundance of caution.
