New Haven police are investigating the discovery of a body near East Rock Park.
Officers responded to the area of Farnam Drive and Orange Street Monday morning.
Police blocked off the intersection and closed off parts of the park.
Police said it appeared they don't believe the victim was killed where the body was found. It's not clear how long the body had been there, police said.
