Newington police are trying to identify the burglars who broke into the Cloud 9 Smoke Shop in Newington early Wednesday morning and are asking people who live in the area to check home surveillance video.
Officers responded to the shop at 451 New Britain Ave. at 3:15 a.m. and found the glass front door was broken.
Police said video surveillance showed three males wearing black masks breaking the front glass door, going into the business and stealing items from the shelves.
One wore a blue jacket or hooded sweatshirt. The other two wore dark hooded sweatshirts.

Newington police are asking area residents to check their home video surveillance systems for suspicious behavior.
