A person had to be rescued by divers after a car went into the water following a multi-vehicle crash in Kent.
Connecticut State Police said the crash happened at about 2:50 p.m. Friday on Schaghticoke Road.
Another person in the car was able to get out on their own before emergency crews arrived.
The person that had to be rescued was still inside the car when authorities arrived. Dive team crews were able to extricate the person and they were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
