Mix-Up Forces Some South Windsor Voters to Use Backup Ballots

A mix-up in South Windsor this morning meant some voters had to cast their votes on backup ballots.

The Registrar of Voters said the cardstock ballots intended for the Pleasant Valley School were delivered to another district. As a result, 41 voters had to place their ballots in an auxiliary bin.

Those votes will be counted after the polls close.

According to the Registrar of Voters, the election moderators at the other district noticed the mistake almost immediately and got the ballots over to Pleasant Valley School.
