Brazen Burglars Caught on Camera

The pair robbed the Stonebridge Restaurant last Wednesday.

Two brazen burglars targeted a Milford hot spot last Wednesday and stole televisions right in front of the restaurant's surveillance cameras.

Those cameras at Stonebridge Restaurant captured an unsuspecting van drive past the place, then back up and park in front of the popular downtown business on April 11 at 2:30 a.m.

The passenger got out and jumped the locked fence. Seconds later, he carried away a giant flat screen television.

As soon as he set it down on the other side of the fence, his accomplice was right there and picked it up.

The work wasn’t done though, he went right back inside and ripped off another television before the pair packed up and left.

“My bartender came in to open the outside and said Rich where are the TVs?” said Richard Conine, who owns Stonebridge.

The next day, he found out they were missing from the outdoor bar.  As soon as he scoured the surveillance video, his questions were answered.

“When you catch it all on tape it's a little intimidating,” Conine said.

Especially because the suspects did this right in front of surveillance cameras that are nearly impossible to miss.

The owner admitted the two got away with more than just electronics. They also took his sense of security.

“Stonebridge is my home, so it was like having thieves come into my home,” Conine said.

He said even though the incident happened so early in the morning, he looked through surveillance video around that time and claimed it was fairly busy and he said someone had to have seen something.

“There was activity. I looked before and after. There were police cars coming by and regular cars,” Conine said.

He wants the men responsible for this caught before they target another business.
