All classes at S.A.N.D. school in Hartford are canceled for the day on Friday because of an electrical fire.
The school, for students from kindergarten through eighth grade, is located at 1750 Main Street and police said the electrical fire is outside.
School officials said there is no physical damage to the building, but the two main power lines were knocked out and it will likely be hours before Eversource, formerly known as Connecticut Light & Power, can restore service.
