NBCUniversal, Inc.

Twelve people were displaced after a 2-alarm fire in a Duplex in Manchester Thursday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the scene of the duplex fire on Woodland Street shortly after 3:30 a.m.

According to officials, two dogs remain missing and are feared to be dead.

Firefighters say one person had to come out through a window to escape the fire. That person did not suffer from any injuries.

Fire officials have not been able to get inside to search for the dogs yet because the structure is unstable.

The early morning blaze remains under investigation at this time.
