One person is dead after a late-night fire at a home in West Hartford Saturday night, according to Fire Chief Greg Priest.
Fire crews said they were called to the home on Elmfield Street near the intersection of Somerset Street at approximately 10 p.m.
Four people were found inside the home at the time of the fire, two of which were reportedly trapped, according to fire crews.
Three of the four people in the home were able to make it out safely.
Firefighters said the other person found inside the home died from their injuries. Their identity has not yet been released.
The fire chief said there is no reason to believe there was foul play at this time.
