Simsbury Fire Department said a missing tuber has been found safe after a search on the Farmington River Saturday night.
Fire officials said they were called to the scene for a report of a missing tuber.
Emergency crews searched the river between Route 185 and the boat house around 7:30 p.m.
The man was found safe in Avon by Avon police just after 8 p.m.
