He may have done it again – two Fairfield banks were robbed on Thursday, and police said the suspect could be responsible for a string of other robberies in Greenwich, New Jersey and New York.
There's already a $2,000 reward from the CT Bankers Reward Association for information leading to his arrest, and investigators are working together to track him down.
"Within minutes of the bank robbery occurring, our detectives were on the phone with Greenwich," said Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara. "They're on the phone with the FBI."
Police said they believe the robber is from out of state and are asking for help in identifying him.
"We're really looking for the people in lower Fairfield County, New York and maybe even into New Jersey," MacNamara said. "We're still checking that out; they're the people we need to look at these photos."
They're searching for the man who robbed a Bank of America at 1466 Post Road and a Chase Bank at 340 Grassmere Avenue within 20 minutes of one another.
The banks are minutes apart and are located near the Interstate 95 entrance and exit ramps.

Two Fairfield train stations were shut down and three trains were held following the robberies, according to police.
Investigators originally said they were looking for two different men, but now believe the robber is one and the same. They think he might have changed clothes between heists.
Police said the man was armed but did not display a weapon. No one was injured in either incident.
A Chase Bank security official called 911, according to police.
Police are calling this an unusual circumstance. They brought out K-9 units and worked to post officers at each of the more-than-22 banks around town.
Fairfield police said the suspect appears to be responsible for a string of other recent bank robberies, including two in Greenwich, one in Linden, N.J. and one in Wood-Ridge, N.J.
Surveillance footage from all four robberies appears to identify the same man.
Police said the suspect is also implicated in at least one robbery in New York state.
One prior robbery shut down the Greenwich Metro-North station on Aug. 28 while police searched trains for the suspect, who was armed.
Fairfield, Greenwich and MTA police are working alongside the FBI to investigate.
Police said they're still trying to figure out if the robber worked alone or had help.
"We're looking for individuals to really look back and think a half hour, hour before they were in the area, is there anything that caught their eye, any vehicles, any people?" MacNamara said.
