A 17-year-old boy is dead after a quadruple shooting in Hartford Sunday and police said he would have turned 18 next month.
Officers said they detected a dozen gunshots on Edgewood Street just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
An unidentified victim was shot in the head, the 17-year-old boy was shot in the hand, a 29-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 26-year-old man was shot in the ankle.
The 17-year-old, Usher Hanns, died from his injuries on Wednesday night, according to police.
Officials have notsaid what led up to the shooting.
