The Fairfield Health Department is urging people to be cautious when swimming. They have received reports of stinging jellyfish in the waters at Jennings Beach and Penfield Beach, but they could be possible at other beaches as well.
In a Facebook post, the health department said the presence of jellyfish can vary based currents, wind and tides.
