An investigation is underway to determine what sparked a fast-moving fire that drove 20 people from their homes in Stamford.
It started Sunday afternoon in an abandoned warehouse on Cedar Street but quickly spread to six other buildings, including a two-story home, before firefighters were able to put it out.
No one was hurt.
Deputy Chief Tim Conroy of Stamford Fire and Rescue said it's not clear yet whether the fire was an arson. He said it seems a person was involved somehow because there was no power source to the warehouse.
