Emergency crews responded to a shooting at JB Williams Park in Glastonbury Wednesday morning after a person committed suicide.
Police were called around 11:30 a.m. to check on the welfare of a man believed to be in the park and found that he'd shot himself, police said.
LifeStar responded to the scene, but emergency responders who were carrying the man on the stretcher to the helicopter rerouted him to an ambulance.
