New Britain Man Accused of Stealing Water

A New Britain man is accused of stealing water services from the city, police said Wednesday.

According to police, 59-year-old Daniel St. Laurent stole around $2,862 worth of water services by tampering with meters at several properties he owns in New Britain.

Laurent was charged with first-degree larceny, second-degree larceny, and theft of water. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 22.
