One person has died and two others are injured after a triple shooting at a home in New London on Sunday night.
Officers were called to a house on Home Street around 11:30 p.m. after getting a report of shots fired.
When police arrived, they said they found three people who had been shot.
All three people were transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for medical treatment, authorities said. One of the victims was later pronounced dead at the hospital, officers added. His or her identity has not been released.
Detectives responded to investigate the incident. According to police, the shooting does not appear to be a random act.
