A fatal crash closed a road in Glastonbury for several hours on Friday, according to police.
The head-on crash happened on Keeney Street between Old Reservoir Road and Woodfield Crossing just after 10:30 a.m., police said.
According to police, a car crossed the center line and crashed into a dump truck coming in the other direction. The woman in the car was killed, police said. She was later identified as 56-year-old Christine Sawamura, of Manchester.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

Keeney Street was closed between Howe Road and Bush Hill in Manchester for several hours.
