Police Seize 300 Bags of Heroin in Brooklyn

State police seized 300 bags of heroin in Brooklyn and made one arrest. 

Police were conducting a drug investigation on Route 6 in Brooklyn at 8:10 p.m. on May 4 and saw what they believed was drug activity in a Volkswagen Passat that had pulled into the Brooklyn Market. 

Police questioned two people and the passenger, Nicole Vondeck, 27, of Killingly, said she was carrying about 300 bags of heroin concealed on her body, police said. 

She turned the 300 bags of heroin over to troopers and was taken into custody. 

Vondeck was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell. 

She is due in Danielson Superior Court on May 18.
