Case Continued for Son Accused of Killing Parents

The case of a Bridgeport, Connecticut man accused of killing his parents after they threatened to cut him out of their wills went before a judge for more pretrial discussions and the case has been continued until Aug. 8.

The private hearing in 28-year-old Kyle Navin's case was held Monday.

He has pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the deaths of his parents, Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin, of Easton, whose bodies were found in Weston in 2015, two months after they disappeared.

Court documents say the couple was upset about their son's behavior and drug use and planned to cut him out of their wills.
