A man from Waterbury who was found inside of a vehicle in New Haven with gunshot wounds on Monday night has died, according to police.
Officers received a call about a person shot on South Frontage Road around 9:30 p.m.
When police arrived to the scene, they said they found 23-year-old Jorge Delgado, of Waterbury, inside of a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he later died, investigators said.

The investigation is ongoing.
