A Department of Development Services employee has been charged with stealing money from the state.
Lisa Bloomer, 48, of Plainfield was arrested Thursday after suspicious payroll records were found, said State Police.
State Police investigators found Bloomer stole approximately $200,000 over a three-year period, said Lt. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police.
Bloomer was charged with larceny and forgery.
