The Windsor High School softball team hosted Military Appreciation Night on Friday during their game with Griswold.
The players wore special uniforms and submitted dedications while the High School JROTC provided a color guard.
In addition, two veterans threw out the ceremonial first pitch and all money raised was donated to the local American Legion.
“To take everything that we've raised throughout the year and put on a game like this that is supported by the booster club and any money that we get, we give right back, it's a great feeling, It's what it is all about,” said President of the Windsor High School softball booster club TJ Barresi.
Griswold defeated Windsor 11-4.
