Burger King Japan has launched the Kuro ("black") burger, which will be for sale through November. And it looks as unappealing as you would expect.

However, once you hear the descriptions for the two versions of the black burgers (called the diamond and the pearl), it sounds much less disgusting.
The bread and cheese are colored using bamboo charcoal and the black sauce, which has a soy and a garlic base, gets that dope shade of ebony from squid ink.

Still, we can't imagine people will be licking their lips in anticipation at the idea of stuffing a burger smothered in black cheese into their bodies. We're taught as a human race that in order to survive, do not put cheese that is black into your mouth. This burger goes against everything we know and hold dear about the fast food industry.
Good luck, Japan. We hope people get into these black, goth burgers.
