Sarah Jessica Parker may have gotten “Carried” away when she put shoes outside of the New York townhouse that was the home of her “Sex and the City” character Carrie Bradshaw.
The actress agitated residents at 66 Perry St. in the West Village after staging a photo shoot for her SJP Collection shoe line on the stoop of the residence, Page Six reported. Images of the actress placing the shoes on the steps were posted to the Instagram account belonging to the shoe brand on October 7.

Tourists have been photographing and hanging around the stoop of the home, prompting its owners to put up a fence that reads: “Do NOT go on staircase please.”
However, the actress posted photos on Oct. 7 of herself leaning over the sign and placing the shoes beyond the fence.

"I heard about the shoot. They didn't get the permission from the owner. The situation with 'SATC' visitors is still very intense," Gerald Banu, president of the Perry Street Association, said to Page Six. "People who live here get upset that the sidewalks are constantly jammed."
Banu added that if a third “Sex and the City” ends up being released, "The only thing I could suggest to SJP is that when they write the next script, please have Carrie move to a new address."
