Businesses are honoring veterans with special deals Tuesday for Veterans Day.
Participating locations may vary, and some businesses require military ID and proof of service while other deals are open to everyone.
Here are some of the top Veterans Day specials this year.
U.S. & World
Outback Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage to all active and retired military personnel. Must show a valid military ID.
Baskin-Robbins is introducing First Class Camouflage as its flavor of the month for November. The ice cream chain will donate 10 cents of all scoops sold at U.S. locations to the United Service Organizations (USO).
World of Coca-Cola:
The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia, always offers free admission to active and retired members of the Armed Forces, but through Nov. 16, members can also purchase up to four half-priced general admission tickets for their friends and family. More information can be found on their website.
Hooters, California Pizza Kitchen, Applebee’s, Friendly’s, Olive Garden:
Some businesses are offering a special item from the menu, while these restaurants are thanking all active and retired veterans with free entrees by presenting a military ID or proof of service.
From Nov. 10 to Nov. 13, Red Lobster is offering one free select appetizer to those with a military ID.
Sleep Number also has special offers for our country’s heroes including $700 off on a Sleep Number m7 bed with 24-month financing and free standard shipping for all current and retired military personnel. The offer ends on November 16 and some restrictions may apply.
All veterans and active military members can enjoy a free small coffee and a doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme locations.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 11, veterans and active military members can fill up on free Red, White, and Blue pancakes at IHOP.
