What You're Doing Tonight - Apr. 6

Bryan Adams - and some cheese - to keep you warm on this rainy night

Blah.  The weather's gross.  But that doesn't mean you have to crawl into bed right after work.

So why not mosey over to "Hartford's Classiest Watering Hole" (says so on their website) -- the Arch Street Tavern!  The drink specials start flowing and the free happy hour buffet opens at 4:30.  Then, you've got just about three hours to get ready for the Hartford Jazz Orchestra, featuring Bobbi Rogers.  They take to the stage around 8.  It's like a nice, low-key, evening with friends.  Who happen to be top-notch musicians.

Looking for something a little cheesier?  Head over to meet Jason, New Haven's guru of queso, at Caseus Fromagerie Bistro.  If you're sick of pairing wine and beer with cheese, they've got a tasting for you - as Metromix points out, it's the conveniently named "Not Beer, Not Wine and cheese Pairing".  For example, there's a "Fuzzy Wheel" cheese paired with a black currant liqueur, or a Cheddar with a rum distilled from molasses.  Cost is $35 per person.

And yes, it's true!  You can still buy tickets for "A Very Special Acoustic Performance by Bryan Adams" at New Haven's Shubert Theater

But c'mon.... Aren't all acoustic performances by Bryan Adams very special?
