The Interstate 84 East Troutbrook off-ramp is covered in PVC pipe after a tractor-trailer flipped on its side on the highway above on Thursday morning.
The lanes of I-84 east closed between exits 43 and 41 after a flatbed truck flipped on its side in breakdown lane. Only the shoulder is getting by.
The truck was carrying a load of PVC pipe, which spilled down the hill onto the Troutbrook off-ramps.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries.
Falling PVC pipe struck the windshield of a Subaru Forrester. The driver of the car was OK, but shaken up by what happened.
The Troutbrook off-ramp from Interstate 84 West will be closed for several hours so officials can clean up the pipe.
