Snow Fell in Parts of the State to End the Weekend

NBCUniversal Media, LLC

Some areas across Connecticut could got up to a coating of snow Sunday night.

A weak cold front passing through the state caused an increase in cloud cover and a chance for snow showers to move through.

Saturday's high temperatures stayed in the teens and 20s for most of the state. The high temps featured a milder day in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Behind the cold front, temperatures will drop a few degrees for Monday with a return to sunshine.

Another round of snow showers are likely by Tuesday morning as milder air moves into the state.
