    Heat Wave Enters Day 5

    Connecticut is on day 5 of a heatwave and residents are doing what they can to stay cool to avoid heat exhaustion.

    The heat wave that started on Friday continues, the NBC Connecticut meteorologists have issued a First Alert for heat, and storms rolling through the state.

    A heat advisory remains in effect for today as temperatures again climb into the 90s and the humidity continues.

    The heat sticks around with 90s forecasted for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday inland, with a bit of a break along the shoreline.
